Seinfeld == Wayne & Shuster

I can't help to notice the similarities between the classic Seinfeld airport episode (where Jerry lives it up in first class while Elaine is stuck in coach) and a vintage Canada's Wayne & Shuster sketch.

I agree. There were a lot of funny Wayne and Shuster episodes but they did not have the production dollars or skill to raise their look above a high school/vaudville look. Their golf game through downtown Toronto was brilliant and so many others - I just saw a Mr. Bean that did the same shtick. When I was a kid we went to the live W and S broadcasts in TO. It was really a relaxed open set and we often talked with the actors (and ate a lot of nabisco cookies - their sponser) The Golden days of Television for sure.

Remember that most of these were produced 30-40 years ago, though, which accounts for much of the different "look" to them.

Fill me on on the particular Wayne & Shuster episode. They were my favorite &I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers them.

My favorite W & S scetch was "The Picture Of Dorrian Wayne." In this Wayne would pig out and stay thin while jis picture would get fat.
