What happened to the early eps???

I never watched Seinfeld regularly until last summer. Now, I consider myself a pretty big fan, and thanks to syndication, I've been able to catch up on a lot of old episodes I missed over the years.

I noticed that in syndication, they played a handful of early episodes from seasons 1 and 2 for about two weeks, then suddenly jumped ahead to somewhere around the middle of Season 4.

What gives?! I know some of you don't like the early episodes as much as the later ones, but I'VE NEVER SEEN MOST OF THEM! Are they dropped from the syndication package or something??? What's going on???

Yes, they do jump around. The reason for not seeing many eps from season #1 is that there are only 4 eps from that year. They are, The Stakeout, The Robbery, Male Unbonding, and the Stock tip. Season #2 ha 12 eps, still far below the average 20 some.

No, those episodes weren't dropped, it's just that the people who decide which episodes to show in syndication like to play a "variety" of episodes, showing them out of order and skipping around most of the time. Don't worry though, those episodes will get shown in time.

I believe they also skipped around to show some holiday shows too.
