yesterday's syndicated episode...

George's mishap concerned the book club which he joined with his girlfriend. They were supposed to read Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote, but George, unable to develop an interest in something that that is not sports-related, can not commit himself to reading the book and goes on a quest for the movie, which results in a hilarious scene. He attempts to dupe everyone at the Book Club meeting, but his laziness is revealed as the movie and book do not correspond. Great episode; try to see it.

Funny dialogue in this ep.(far from verbatim):

George: Good writer, Truman Capote. Jerry: Great writer. George: Did you ever read anything by him? Jerry: Nah. George: Me neither.

If I'm not mistaken, he was in a reading group with her and instead of actually reading "Breakfast at Tiffanys" he just rented the movie.
