Geraldo! EGAD!

I knew it was over being funny when I saw him.

They'll cut him out of the syndicated episode to fit a half hour show then everything will be funny.

I agree 100 percent. Geraldo was the _worst_ part of the episode, especially because he gave his "bulletins" in such a fake voice, totally different from his usual manner of speaking. His scenes simply didn't fit, because, unlike the rest of the cast, he sounded like his was using an "acting voice", not his "normal voice". All the other people on the show (even those with bit parts or cameo roles) always sound natural, even during the most surreal of scenes. Geraldo stuck out like a sore thumb.

I mean, which is funnier - Johnny Cockran or Jackie Chiles? the "real-life" J Peterman or the one on Seinfeld? George Steinbrenner or the back of some guy's head? The spoof versions of real-life people have always worked great on the show, so why have the real-life (and very unfunny) Geraldo??? In fact, if I had known ahead of time Geraldo would be on the final show, I would have had good warning that it was going to suck.
