Elaine: "I can't spend the rest of my life coming into this stinking apartment every ten minutes to pore over the excruciating minutae of every single daily event."
Also: George: "Can I come?" Elaine: "I'm sorry ... we've already got a George."
A few observations on 10/3:
This show was brilliant (not uniformly, of course), but it was a wonderful parody of itself. Think about how you would write a show as a take-off on a typical Seinfekd episode - it couldn't have been done better than this. It works so well because Seinfeld itself is a parody.
By the way, regarding my previous observations on over-commercialization (blatant display of branded merchandise), notice that at the end of the show, in the "Bizarro" apartment, when Feldman delivers groceries and they start to unpack the bag, THE PRODUCT BOXES ARE (DELIBERATELY) NAMELESS. That is certainly a satire by the writers on all the commercial stuff on the show.
