George's wallet exploding didn't amuse you???? I laughed my head off! How many people do you know have so much junk in their wallets that they can hardly bend them in half? That is funny stuff... come on.. give Seinfeld a break :-)
But, I will agree that Seinfeld has lost some of it's 'spunk', but I always laugh (at least once) when I watch the show! And what else would you talk about at work???

Like all good comedy, the secret is not in the plots, its in the writing. A comedy can go on forever with lame plots if the writing is sharp. Look at Rodney Dangerfield. I first saw him on TV as a kid, decades ago (he wasnt the kid). His act is about nothing, but he can spin that out to an impossible degree. I even remember getting a laugh when Guido Sarducci, on Saturday night live, told of an Italian relatives comments in the middle of which Sarducci grabbed an imaginary tie, wiggled it, and said "No respecta, no respecta.." Why does a person laugh at that. Its just that Dangerfield is a clown. So I think Seinfeld can produce laughs simply by staying with reliable humor.
