Fans discuss whether the Monks scene in "The Frogger" where George, Kramer, and others plan a job parodies Reservoir Dogs, with one viewer affirming it while another disputes the connection.

In "The Frogger", when George, Kramer, Slippery Pete and Shlomo were sitting around at Monks, discussing the job, was this a parody of Reservoir Dogs? A friend mentioned he thought it was, but it's been ages since I saw that movie, so I don't remember.

Was it simply "4 guys discussing a job" or was it actually a parody?

Anybody?

It was definitely a parody of that type of movie.

It was about as funny as any given Monk's scene so I don't see the Seinfeld scene as being a parody of something so funny in the first place. Also, Seinfeld parodies usually mimic the cinematography and camera movements of the film being parodied and they didn't do that here.

I'm still wondering what film was being parodied in the Andrea Doria episode scene where George was telling one humilliating anecdote after another and a snip from each would dissolve into the next with the camera moving horizontally.
