Kramer Pizza Idea FINALLY a Reality
Chain of "Make Your Pizza" Parlors prepare for Grand Opening.by H.F. Peterman
(New York, NY) - After years of development it's finally a reality. Today, Kramerica Industries announced the grand opening of its new chain of "Make your own Pizza" Parlors slated to open in 4 major cities across the U.S.
"We give you the dough, you smash it, you pound it, you fling it in the air; and then you get to put your sauce and you get to sprinkle your cheese on it" Mr. Kramer said, President of Kramerica Industries.
The idea came to me while working years ago on "Seinfeld". Kramer said. It almost happened with my former partner Poppy, but we had shall we say, our artistic differences.
Poppy owner of the New York city restaurant "Poppies" was just recently released from a white collar prison in upstate New York for numerous health code violations.
"Cosmic Pizza: It's Your Pie" the name of the pizza parlors, is the result of Kramerica Industries partnering with longtime acquaintance John O'hurley, who played J. Peterman on Seinfeld. "I have had past dealings with Mr. Kramer" O'hurley said. "He had ghost-written my autobiography. I like how he thinks" peterman reminisced.
O'hurley, who routinely invests in non-acting ventures, is also a major investor in Kramerica Industries. "I saw the success Al Yegnah, the original "Soup Nazi" had with his chain of Soup Boutiques and felt the timing was right"
Mr Kramer had many ideas that just didn't seem to get off the ground. Bottle deposit schemes, rickshaws pulled by homeless men, and the belt less trench-coat were just a few of his many failed business ventures.
"I've come to far and have been so close to NOT make this happen" Kramer said. "Oh sure, I had to make a few compromises on my idea however its essentially still a Kramer"
Mr. Kramer is referring to the liability associated with having people shoving their hands into 600 degree ovens.We had to tweak that one for the insurance company and the liability insurance.
So "Cosmic Pizza: It's Your Pie" is based off the highly successful Japanese style shogun restaurants. Instead of acrobatic knife moves and salt and pepper juggling you have dough flinging and pounding. Each table is assigned an employee who supervises the whole thing. We like to call him "The Supervisor"
The Grand Opening takes place in New York, Chicago, Miami and Los Angeles. More cities to be announced.
