The Best Seinfeld Episode

Dear Group,

Having seen Mark McGwire make history, I must now go to bed. I think the best Seinfeld episode is the hour-long one in which Jerry gets bumped up to first class. What are your opinions? E-mail me and tell me what you think.

The best episode would have to be The Bizzaro Jerry. It turns the table on the show and has Elaine hanging around with bizzaro opposites of Jerry, George, Kramer and has the real Kramer and George finally achieving success in life while Jerry deals with a woman who has man-hands. Very funny and wonderfully imaginative.

The other great episodes are The Invitations, The Serenity Now, and the list could go on and on...

That a million different people will have their best Seinfeld Episode be something else than yours or mine. I prefer to say that my favorite episode is that one or that one . Of the last two season "The Betrayal" is my favorite and of all times it would have to be " The Outing".

The Episode you are referring to, I believe , is "The Airport" and is not an hour long .

Now that I reflect back on that episode, didn't Elaine get stuck in
coach because there was only one first class seat available and Jerry
got it?  But when Elaine snuck up into first class, there were several
open seats.  One of them should have rightfully been hers.  If it was
me, I'd flat out have refused to go back to coach.

You're right. I thought about it for a few minutes after I posted, and I got it all wrong in my head. I had thought for a moment that they were flying stand-by. My dad used to work for Pan-AM Airways and whenever we flew 'stand-by', that always meant we got 1st class seats if they were available. When my brothers and I were in the 12-16 age range, I remember us celebrating when we heard the word stand-by because that meant extra large seats and better food.

But you're right.  In the episode, one of them had to take the coach
seat and Jerry said he needed the 1st class seat because he had flown
1st class before and Elaine hadn't so she wouldn't know what she was
missing.

KNOWING HOW THE AIRLINES WORK, I THINK WHAT HAPPENED IS THAT THERE WAS ONLY ONE SEAT LEFT IN COACH. OTHERWISE THEY WOULD HAVE PUT BOTH OF THEM IN COACH. AS IT WAS ONE OF THEM HAD TO GO TO FIRST CLASS. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK
