Friday night I was in the pizza parlor and "Beavis and Butthead" came on the TV. They were commenting on the Clash's "Should I Stay or Should I Go?" Beavis asks "who's that?" and Butthead answers "that's that Seinfeld guy. He's like Queen Latifah - she used to make videos and now she has a TV Show." And man, if Mick Jones didn't look exactly like Jerry in that video - right down to the facial expressions! Cool!

"B&B" wasn't the only cartoon with a Sein reference. The pilot episode of "The Critic" featured two characters watching an episode of Sein featuring the cart oon likenesses of Jerry and George. The bit included the following dialogue:
George: So, are you gonna take Karen out tonight? Jerry: Why do they call it "taking out?" We'll be IN a restaurant, so technic ally I'll be taking her in. I'd say "I'm taking her in," but then she sounds l ike a pair of pants! (*Kramer bursts through the door; laughter from audience is heard.)
Then the scene cuts to the two people watching TV. One says to the other: "Why aren't you laughing? People really talk like that."
I hear that Fox may put "The Critic" on their fall schedule. Maybe you can cat ch it! Enjoy the reruns, folks!
