Wonder if "Crazy George" Steinbrenner will finally make his long-awaited real-life appearance on the final "Seinfeld"? He was to have appeared a year or so back, but he was left on the cutting-room floor.

I understand he was so miffed he fired Cosmo Kramer (he mixed up the characters), sent Newman to Columbus (so that's how Wayne Knight ended up in Ohio for "3rd Rock"!) and sought to trade Julia Louis-Drefyus to "Cybill" for Christine Baranski and a guest star to be named later.

George got the job with the NY Yankees in an episode where he decided to do everything the opposite from his instincts. He realised that everything he'd done in his life was wrong, and therefore if he did the opposite things would work out. Anyway, he approached a girl in the restaurant and told her he was unemployed and lived with his parents, she liked this and they started going out. She then got him an interview at the Yankees. In the job interview George said that he lost his last job because he had sex with the cleaning lady, and the job before that becuase the boss wouldn't let him use his private bathroom. Steinbrener then comes to the door and George is invited to meet him. George proceeds to abuse Steinbrener about his handling of the Yankees in the past. Steinbrener says 'employ this man' and it goes from there.
