New Year's Eve with Jerry

(I'm sorry, I must try not to get too excited)

There are two shows down here in south Florida on dec 31, and I just bought tickets to the 10 o'clock show. They were $37.00, $52.00, and $75.00 each... I got the 52's.

I'll have a sip of champagne for all of you. (not one for EACH of you...well, maybe so... anyhow, you know what I mean)

Digressing just a bit, Is it anyone else's experience as well, to feel that I've been taken just a bit by TICKETMASTER? I mean, I stood in line at 9:30 the first morning tickets went on sale, I was 5th in line, and I had tickets-in-hand at 10:04, sales starting at 10:00. I'm in the back of the room!!!

I had a similar experience when purchasing McCartney tickets from TICKETMASTER. I was at work that Saturday, I pre-programmed 8 lines, tickets went on sale at 10:00am, I got an operator at 10:15, and was promised "best available." McCartney played at Joe Robbie Stadium, which seats about 80K. He played at one end zone, I was in the other end zone, upper deck, LAST row. The only other creatures who cold possibly have had a worse view would have been birds sitting on the cement wall behind me. I had 10 power binoculars, and he was about an inch tall. I saw the drummer hit the head... and heard the sound about 1 or 2 seconds later. It was a less than perfect experience.

Digressing again, I'll ask ONE MORE TIME: Does anyone have an address for sending letters to the Seinfeld cast??? I figured that, of all places, this would be the place to get it.

A New Kids On the Block concert?

I am a fan, but I just have a problem with stars taking advantage of their fans. And yes, ultimately Jerry does have a say in how much the tickets cost, or his books for that matter.

But, I do hope you have a good time!!!

The reason why you did not get as good as seats even though you are fifth in line is that there are many ticketmaster locations and they all work coopertively. For example, there might have been another ticketmaster location on the other side of town that opened at 9:30 am. If you are on the West Coast you might have even been beat to first place by someone on the East Coast that got their tickets three hours before you.

Remember, this is in south florida, there IS no one east of me, and the whole lower part of the state is in the same time zone.

Be sure and ask him if him if his current girlfriend fakes it; that's the first time i EVER saw him at a loss for words.
