The Chaperone - Merv Giffin

At the end of The Chaperone when Karen is singing there is a panning shot of the audience. If you look closely in the bottom right I believe you can see Merv Griffin. Can anyone with those illegal tapes out there confirm that?

Anyway, I'll rewatch the scene in question and report back on Thursday. (Wednesday is Yom Kippur, no eating, no drinking, no using the computer).

I rewatched the scene, and if it wasn't Merv, then it was his twin
brother.  It appeared as though the Pageant crowd was really a Seinfeld
taping crowd.  As they panned across, several people were looking off to
their right (to see themselves on the monitors) and some people were
even waving to the camera.
