I have two questions:

Which was the first episode where the character Newman appeared in?
Which was the first episode in which Wayne Knight appeared as Newman?

In the 2nd season- The Revenge- we HEAR Newman for the first time, then in the 3rd season in The Suicide we see Wayne Knight on screen as Newman for the first time.

And of course, originally Newman was voiced by Larry David. But, the synidcated versions now have Wayne Knight's voice dubbed in its place for that episode.
