Jerry's car

does anyone know what car was Jerry driving in the episode where Jerry and George were waiting for Elaine and George was telling Jerry how he didn't love this southern girl and then Elaine was telling then how this guy went from talking to hello to noding to nothing? what car was it? how many cars does jerry have?

It certainly wasn't a Saab, I think in the older episodes they were trying to show that Jerry didn't have much money and that car was a junker. If you remember from the first episode, George had to drive Jerry to the airport to pick Laura up. I guess that's because Jerry didn't even have a car at all.

In the episode where Jerry gives George instructions for "the move" and gets angry at David Puddy for stealing "the move," he has to get Elaine to ask David for an estimate on fixing his car. She then refers to it as a Swedish car, which I guess is a Saab. Also, I think that when the other mad mechanic stole Jerry's car because he thought Jerry wasn't taking good enough care of it, they may have referred to it as a Saab. --Julia

Yes, in the same episode where the mechanic stole the car, when the police call him out to identify his car, he tells us he is driving a Saab, I think a 9000, without a turbo... a classic moment in television history.

It's not a 9000, it's a 900.

It tonight's syndicated show Jerry was picking in a BMW.

The car that had the awful smell that wouldn't go away was a BMW - probably why he has a Saab now. (THat and it's just TV so they can change those types of things all they want)

Not always. I remember one BMW - the one he got rid of because of the valet's (sp?) BO. I think that was a greyish/bluish BMW 5-series. He's also had a black Saab 900 Turbo Convertible if I'm not mistaken. And I *think* he had some 'cream-colored'/beige american car before that.

These are the only ones I know from the television show, but in real life Jerry collects classic Porsches. I like his taste of cars. :)
