Fans discuss a mysterious photograph visible on Jerry's apartment wall in "The Jacket" episode, questioning whether it's a famous image or movie still depicting a man on a pier.
In THE JACKET - when George is trying to make Jerry tell him how much the jacket costs he walks in front of a picture on Jerry's wall. I noticed it and re-wound the tape a few time to really see it.
It is a picture of a man standing on a pier, near a railing near a light stand - the same image used when George and Jerry make their decisions to get married.
Is this a famous picture? Image from a movie?
Was it a painting or a picture? If it's a painting then The Scream comes to mind, but I'm sure that's not it.

No it was definetly not The Scream. It seemed like a photograph. But you are right the concept was close to the scream. This picture however was more of a scene than a close up of the person.
