kramer's name

I was just thumbing through some of the old postings which I saved and lo and behold I came across Seinfeld's replies to several questions while on prodigy.

One question dealt with Kramer's name. Here is JS's answer:

Kramer's first name is Kramer. Kramer lives by his wits and that's why he's broke. He made money last year on a horse race, $17,000 and he made some money this year by selling his opera ticket to Crazy Joe Davola. BTW, Kramer's last name is Kramer.

I thought this was interesting so I sent it on.

This has been talked to death but... In a recently aired rerun, Jerry calls Kramer's mom and addresses her as "Mrs. Kramer". Didn't the Rolling Stone article have Larry Charles saying something about 'Kramer's first name' or was that 'Kramer's other name'?
