Elaine was too funny...

Last night's episode was pretty good, but I think Elaine was the best out of all of them last night. Her little story line with the secretary and the panties was funny. The line she got Jerry with at the end was hysterical.

BUT! By far the best part was when Jerry called her and she was shaking the pencil and she tells Jerry "I've got a rubber pencil thing going here". That had me in stitches! I know I get amazed by the little phenomenom of the bending pencil, and when she was doing it, it cracked me up...

It would have been even funnier if she had just shaken the pencil and watched it without saying anything about it. We all knew what she was doing. Seinfeld is made funnier because of the small little things they put in the show. They sortof spoil it when they explain everything.

I disagree.. I think the funny thing was not that she was sitting there doing it, but that she chose to share it with Jerry. It was one of those moments that's not about story, but about the little things in life that these characters are continually getting obsessed with. Any character on any show might have been doing that; only on Seinfeld would they talk about it... Joe Walker [email]
