Anyone ever notice that the four main characters constantly slam the front door to Jerry's apartment? Sometimes they even slam the door shut with their feet, making it an even more forceful slam...The neighbors in the apartments in Jerry's section of the building would jump out of their skin everytime the door would suddenly slam. In a way, it's kind of a continuity error/unrealistic scenario in that I doubt the neighbors/management of such an upscale apartment building would tolerate that behavior.

"Upscale"? Hardly. We learned that 121 West 81st is a pretty run-down place way back in episode 3, "The Robbery." Even much later, in "The Strongbox," Jerry tells Phil (the guy with the bird) that there have been some robberies in the building, and that he can't let him in (no doorman, either). Upscale? Don't think so.
