I thought the Feb 20th episode had it's moments but it did not live up to the huge hype Jerry gave it on Jay Leno. Elaine was acting way to depressed the entire episode. It seemed like Julia just wanted to go home and take a nap.
They also should have taken the toothbrush situation a little further by having had Jerry not yet flush after peeing. That would have made it much funnier.
But it was mostly a good episode, I'd give it a B+ which is about my average mark over the eight year run.

I did not feel the same way about the episode. The toothbrush scene is not new to me. I vaguely recall I have seen this somewhere. It was slightly different in which the lady was trying to kiss the guy right after she brush her teeth. Guy was so frightened and rejected her. The lady felt deeply insulted, and they broke up right way.
In those recent episode, Elaine always looks so tired. Besides, her new hairstyle made her face even wider. Somebody got to tell her.
Duh!....Julia is pregnant, and that is why her face (and the rest of her body) looks a bit bigger...give the woman some slack for god's sake!

Julia Louis-Dreyfus is currently pregnant with her second child. Elaine is not.
I totally disagree with you on this. One of Jer's quirks is his over-the-edge hygienic nerosis, which justifies, although unjustifiably as lots of people think on the newsgroup, his big fuss of his girlfriend's breath and his tossing out everything off his apartment. For the consistency of character's persona, Jerry wouldn't forget to flush after peeing. Besides, a toothbruch in a peed toilet would be too obvious and gross and lose its touch of neurotic humor. It's you don't really get the "horror" feeling from a bloody slasher movie as you do from "Psycho, " "The Omen," or "Rosemary's Baby."

I have to disagree. the plot with Jerry and the toothbrush was ludicrous and bizzare. He went from obsessive about cleanliness to a slob in one show. To have him pee and not flush is just too weird. Seinfeld this season isn't as "real" and down-to-earth as previous seasons, and I think this has really messed things up...
