When I looked at the quictime 3D video of the Seinfeld Apartment and Coffee Shop shooting sets, it didn't seem like there were seats for the crowd. Has Seinfeld been shot in front of live audience? The cast does seem to be affected by the laughter. Especially Jerry. But I do remember a testimony of someone who's been to a recording.
