I had this idea a while ago that sounds like something george would have done, but they never put it in an episode, curious what YOU people think;
George loans someone money-- say-- $60, nothing to huge, but big enough that (to george) it would be a massive deal. The person he loans the money to, dies. George attends the funeral, and sheepishly asks the widow/widower/father/brother/mother, etc. for the money back.

That does sound Georgish! However, they have had him selfishly trying to get something after a death: reimbursement for damage to his car done by a jumper, and a free airline ticket to go to a funeral.
And he wasn't the only one: Elaine was looking for a new phone number after Gammy died, and Jerry had a bit in a monologue about combining the obituaries and the real estate ads.
Any other funeral/death-related storylines?
Elaine trying to get the apartment in "The Pony Remark" after the old woman died and the husband moved.
