I think this one of the funniest lines Jerry has ever said.

I agree!!! It's the WAY he says it, with such contempt. I also like the way he says "Newman!" (with his upper lip curled up above his teeth) when he's figured out that Newman has done something to him (like given him fleas!).

By far the best was in The Raincoats (I think) when Jerry's mom answers the door and says it. I was rolling!!

Oddly enough, I heard that the negotiation of the pilot for the actual Seinfeld series went much the way the negotiation for the ficticious "Jerry" pilot went as well! I guess the show was meant to be then...to survive THAT!
