Hasn't anyone in this group ever heard of SPOILERS???

Imagine you are a regular on this newsgroup who was out last Thursday so you taped the finale and haven't watched it yet. So you log on to your favorite newsgroup and all you see it "Susan's Dead." I don't know who moderates this group, if anyone, but it's time to start instilling some sense of proper netiquette. If you're writing about something that others may not have seen yet, use the word "spoiler" in your subject line, leave approx. 20 lines of "spoiler space" at the beginning of your message, and DO NOT put spoiling info in your subject line.

I like Seinfeld and I like TV newsgroups, but this one is full of racists, anti-semites, and immature people whose goal in life is to find out if a fictional character is Jewish or not. No one uses any spoiler protection, and there is little respect for other people's opinions. Don't bother flaming me, 'cause I won't be back.

This week's episode was the season finale, so it is the last time that we will be able to talk about a new show until September. Also, this show touched on some sensitive issues that some of us enjoyed and some of us didn't. We all wanted to either post or see what others had to say about it. I do this after every new show.

If you have taped the show, but haven't watched it, do what I do and don't read any of the messages or headers in this group until you have watched the tape.

Lighten up! Yes, there have been some racist posts, but they are the exception and not the rule. The posts about whether or not someone is Jewish have been fairly light and many have been humourous! While I do object to some of the posts, overall I enjoy the quality and humour of this group.

My rule is don't read the newsgroup if you haven't watched the episode cause what would people be discussing besides Seinfeld???

Doesn't make sense, I only look at the messages AFTER I've seen the show that way I know what everyone is talking about.

I hate all that spoiler crap.
