Jerry can't act....

I'm not sure if he was genuinely mad in this one, but how about the episode where his car got hit with the B.O. from the valet?

I do agree, however, that he isn't the best actor in the world. Show's still funny though, isn't it? :)

Jerry is somewhat reminiscent of Mindy Cohn's character on The Facts of Life (forgot her character's name already!). Anyway, she was also one who couldn't help but smile in practically (but not all) every situation she was in, whether it be sad or serious. It makes it funny that he smiles while he's angry - at least it works for me, I'm usually laughing when he's trying to be angry.

This is a great show. I'm not sure why is wasn't on for a while there, but I just watched it last night. Unfortunately, they're going with the "hug's and lessons" theme that you'll never see on Seinfeld. Other than that it's great.

If it stays on for a couple of seasons I predict the oldest daughter (don't know her character's name or the actresses name) will have a cult following similar to the one Valerie Betinelli (sp?) did when she was on "One Day at a Time".

Again, he was funny while trying to be mad. I doubt that he's trying to be genuinely mad in the first place, which makes it even funnier.

Actually, Jerry seems to playing the straight man much like Dean Martin to Lewis. He may be a comedian in his profession but the hilarity lies in the huor of the every day man / woman. Ahh, yes... Natalie. As for the Second Half, I know what you're talking about. I was really into that show for the first couple weeks or months (forgot already), and then all of a sudden it wasn't in it's usual slot, so I assumed that it got canned like most of the other shows at that time. I was pretty angry because I did like that show. Mendoza's great, and it was nice to see that lady from Seinfeld in there as well as Wayne Knight.
