I am not sure if everyone would agree with these. Any more? Comments?

The Graduate - Kramer is running to the church before George's conversion - also a Mrs. Robinson bit

Poseiden Adventure - in The Parking Garage - like the group finding their way out of the inverted ship (the goldfish!)

The Great Escape - when George places a dime on the floor then pretends to see it - walks over and picks it up

Midnight Cowboy - bus ride

Platoon - bad food

JFK - the magic loogy (Wayne Knight doing the same scene in both)

Nixon - driving off in the cadillac

Schindler's List - the ring, I could have...

Miracle on 42nd Street - when Kramer is the Santa Clause and tries to speak a foreign language

Apocolypse Now - the horror..

The Firm - postal interrigation -

Titanic - old lady lied -

There was a chase scene between Kramer and a cable guy over the rooftops. Someone suggested once that this was a take-off on a Clint Eastwood movie, but I don't know much about his ouvre.

The eastwood flick was "in the line of fire" when he is chasing john malkovich. but i don't think it was a direct reference to that film.

Both are possibilites, another one it might be is "The Untouchables".

the wednesday night episode where elaine is infatuated with the underage video store clerk, vincent...i think i saw a film parody here but not quite sure.

its the scene when elaine is at vincents apartment door and vincent opens it a crack and elaine partially sticks her head in. the way that scene was lit and photographed and the way elaine spoke was very cinematic.

and i'm not speaking of the "the shining" but another film. does anyone have any ideas...

Funny you should mention "The Shining." That scene reminded me of that movie, too (although, I agree with you that that wasn't their goal).

You mention "The Firm" in regards to the Postmaster General interrogation, could it be "Absence of Malice"? And the scene before where Newman tells Kramer "how it's gonna go down" was from "Three days of the Condor". I think. Anyone? I've never seen either of those movies so I wouldn't know for sure.

Then there's Star Trek 3, George screaming "Khan!!!" and later "Twix!!!"

Pulp Fiction - Newman as 'the cleaner' in "The Muffin Tops".

Lassie - "What is it boy? Trouble? At the Old Mill?"

Beauty and the Beast - Elaine and Vincent (of Vincent's picks)

Phemonenon - In "The Abstinence" when George becomes a genius, learns Portuguese, etc.

Cape Fear - Uncle Leo working out in "The Bookstore" with "J-E-RR-Y" and "H-E-LL-O" tattooed on his fingers ala Robert DeNiro.
