I thought the whole abortion issue was handled very well, just as was the episode about being gay (not that there's anything wrong with that!). I found it interesting that Elaine, who I think might be Catholic, is pro- choice. In "The Pick" when she rattles off the list of all the cards she sent out, wasn't there a "Father" somebody?

--Quick question: was last night's episode was the second time (the first being "the Pick" that Jerry called Elaine "Lanie" (spelling?)??????.

Anyway, not that Catholics can't be pro-choice, but I thought it was just a little sidenote that might snowball into a big fight.

Scott- ask any Catholic authority...Catholics cannot be pro-choice!!!! This is a basic tenet in the Catholic faith that values the sanctity of human life.

Pope-aholics, not Catholics in general, might agree with you. Catholics consider the moral teaching of the Church when forming their consciences about these sorts of issues, but don't feel bound by the moral teaching.

And hey, this show was pretty good. I'm hopeful after the dismal beginning of the season!
