Actor who played "Joel Rifkin"

This is bugging me - was the actor who played "Joel Rifkin" on last night's (11/18) episode the same guy who played Henri, the Frenchman on "Cheers"? He was the one who was always telling Woody "I'm going to steal your girlfriend!" The fact that he had an accent on "Cheers" shouldn't matter, since it was obviously fake, which was admitted in at least one episode. I think it may have been him - any thoughts?

I think that you may be right. I never knew what Henri's real name was so I can't be sure. But his hair looked like it was a different color from when he was Henri. I have a black and white T.V. so sometimes its hard to tell on grayscale.

By the way, I thought that "Stewart" Riffkin sounded just fine.

That would be my guess too. Also, I'm pretty sure Daffne (sp?) on Frasier is the same lass who played the part of the virgin last season. Can anyone confirm this?

I can't confirm it, but I'm pretty sure it is too.

Yes, Jan Leeves, an ex british model, played the virgin with JFK jr on Seinfeld, the companion on Frasier, Miles' girlfriend on Murphy Brown, and an office person in a show about a rock record company some years ago. That's when she first got my full attention.

Yes, when I first saw it, I thought it was him for sure as well! It must be him....

Just to let you know for sure -- YES this is the actor that played Henri on Cheers. One of my friends is a good friend of his and I asked him.

I have to admit though, his hair was much better as Henri!
