Seinfeld good?

"Seinfled" is a piece of crap! Now, "Married...with Children", there is a good sitcom!!

A.) You are wrong B.) Why the hell did you post that here? You are representing "Married" fans and you arent making them look very intelligent. If I liked that show, I would be mad that you took it upon your self to be the diplomat to the seifeld NG and make all fans of that show look like complete dumbasses. Maybe thats just my opinion though.

I love both shows.

They've rarely been compared to each other, but Seinfeld and Married... have one important thing in common: they're both pure, undiluted comedies. When you think about it, it's very rare for sitcoms to sustain PURE comedy, without ever pausing for sentiment, preachy social commentary, or other non-comedy material.

Offhand, I cannot think of any past or current sitcom besides those two that don't dilute the comedy at least a little.

Jesus, Married... had to be terminated. The show was getting worse AND worse every season. Not even Christina's legs could guarantee some decent audience any longer. Great to watch a few years back, though.

I don't know Dave.....I think Married got a bum rap being stuck on Fox all those years and yet it managed to be the longest running sitcom ever......and it got stabbed in the back as thanks for putting Fox on TV...they didn't even tell them they weren't going to be back until after the season finale was shot thus making it a series finale, and a pretty bad one to boot. All in all, and this comes from one of the biggest Seinfeld fans ever, I find Married more funny than Seinfeld, in terms of how many times I laugh out loud....however I will say that I enjoy rewatching Seinfeld far more....I think I would get sick of Married if I had them all on tape but watching in syndication every night doesn't seem to wear thin on me.......You're right that Kramer will live on as the more memorable character but I feel that Al Bundy will always live on as representing the "every man"....very few people act like Kramer.

These are two very different shows distinctly seperated by the viewers intelligence.
