I'd watch a show with Joe Bookman as the main character, going out on cases every week to recover overdue library books. They could film it all jittery and shaky just like "NYPD Blue." I can hear the voice-over: "Tired of Sipowicz? Well, there's a new cop in town. Meet Joe Bookman. Mondays on NBC." They could even bring back Marion, the poetry-writing librarian.
