I haven't been keeping up recently, so I don't know if this was covered, but...did anyone else not like the Lion King Seinfeld episode posting, other than me?
It was a nice try, and I'm supportive of fan fiction, but this one...I don't know...it had the flavor of Seinfeld but...it was *too focused* on the Lion King. Geez, it made me want to stop reading it, actually. When the believeability of the plot gets stretched too far and the characters start acting way out of normal bounds it just gets ridiculous. I wanted to picture a new Seinfeld episode in my head, not a big promotional ad for Disney or the internet. Actually, the idea of Seinfeld promoting a company like Disney is rather sickening--Disney has had a history of messing up good things with no regard for integrity, and I'd personally prefer Disney and Seinfeld to stay as separate as possible.
