Fans are divided on this episode, with some finding it unfunny and offensive due to its handicapped parking spot plotline, while others enjoyed the humor and character moments.
Was it me, or was this far and away the least funny Seinfeld episode so far? The situations were cliche, the dialog was predictable and formulaic (if that's a word), and I wouldn't hire the director for a wedding video. I can't believe it. It's like what happened to "Yes, Minister" when it became "Yes, Prime Minister". Barely worth taping. What happened?

I kinda agree. Although there were some great little things like : "I'd name him Isosceles Kramer!" Or what about:
Jerry: "I think I'll get a yo-yo." George: "I could see that."
The Blind Date episode on Wednesday was HILARIOUS though. I really loved the bit about defective condoms and all. Even so, just thinking about the Handicap Spot episode brings a little smile to my face.
I thought it was a pretty good episode. My favourite [Canadian spelling, eh] part was when George had to become his father's butler! I was ROFL. It was a nice twist of their lives coming from their writing instead of Jerry's material coming from his life.
One thing I didn't get was what they were going to do with the TV. If they just take it back and get a refund, then won't the woman call the volunteer organization asking where her TV is? I still thought it was funny, I just wasn't sure how they would get away with it.
Here are my ideas on how they might get away with it:
1) Take the TV back and replace it with a cheaper one to give to the woman. That way they get some of their money back, but don't risk any problems.
2) George's father didn't tell the woman he was going to send the TV. She doesn't ask about it because she didn't know it was coming.
3) They don't get away with it. The fab four spend an episode in JAIL. Or maybe they go to jail at the end of the season finale and spend the summer hiatus in jail. That way we don't miss anything important in their lives :-)

I'm probably the only one who feels this way, but....
IMHO the 5/13 episode of the show was the worst ever. I don't offend easily, but this episode was just too much.
Just when I thought TV couldn't sink any lower......
I used to think the show was funny, but I'm not sure after what I saw last night.
I'm still reeling mentally from it. I wonder what they were thinking when they came up with it. I never thought anyone could sink that low. but I felt that I should say something. It's difficult to see the difficulties I've encounted in the real world parodied with such impunity on television. Perhaps I am too upset by the episodes. I do have a sense of humor, but I had to make an exception in this case.

You! Many of the Seinfeld episodes are offensive to at least someone. That's how humor usually works. You shouldn't let it ruin your appreciation of television, however.
Personally I don't watch much TV except Seinfeld and Star Trek: TNG. There's not that much worth watching. Maybe you should pick up a new hobby.
I admit I got carried away with my initial responses, but I still think it was in bad taste.
I won't stop watching TV though.
And my apologies are out there someplace on the net in case no one has seen them yet.... :-)

I agree, partially. I didn't think it was a very good episode. But it was still good - HELL it's Seinfeld! I hope the one hour thing before the Cheer's finale is funny.
