Rold Gold pretzels have appeared on Seinfeld a few times, so there is no doubt in my mind that the show gets some cash for the exposure.
Could be. I noticed another interesting thing during last Thursday's syndication episode. During the 2nd commercial break they showed, in order, Newman's 1-800-COLLECT spot, then Elaine's Clairol spot (the one where she interrupts the panel show), then George's Pretzels in Space commercial. Afterwards, I was kinda pissed that I didn't tape them along with the episode. I was waiting for an AmEx ad, but alas, 4 in a row may have been asking a bit much.
