In The Frogger Elaine eats a wedding cake 60 years old that had spent almost all that time in a poorly ventilated basement. She swiped it out of Peterman's fridge. What would it look like after all that time, let alone what would it taste like? They show Elaine making a pig out of herself. One bite would have gagged her! I vote for this as the most ridiculous thing on Seinfeld. What is everyone else's opinion?
Survey: Most ridiculous
the episode where kramer lived in his shower was kind of stupid.

I can accept Kramer swimming in the East River, but when he bumps into Elaine out there at the end of the episode? I mean, come on. It doesn't keep with her character; she had more sense than to swim in there.

the notion that George would get the calibre of girls he often dated on the show was pretty rediculous.

The most ridiculous thing was when Jerry and Elaine were on the flight, and Jerry took first class and Elaine went on coach (because there was only these two seats) - later in the episode Elaine sneaks into first class - to an EMPTY SEAT!!! Very bad! Gosh do I hate that episode!!!

That could easily be explained by a number of possibilities. For example, maybe that seat's occupant was in the restroom at the time. Or perhaps that passenger decided at the last minute not to take the flight.

Actually, I thought it was the other way around: Jerry got upgraded to 1st class because coach was overbooked.
And Jerry was right, it is verrrrry hard to go back to coach.

LOL! Why single out George!

because George is a stocky, balding man who lives with his parents...yet, he gets these girls. Yes, Jerry's girls are pretty impressive too, but you could even argue that he gets them due to his quasi-celebrity status as a comedian...but Georgie-boy...I just have no idea.

How about Susan dying from licking envelopes? She was one of the most sympathetic supporting characters on the series & that was supposed to be funny?
With a few exceptions, I would have to say that it was a good thing that they decided to end the series before they went even further over the top.
And the whole last episode certainly qualifies for, if not ridiculous, at least an insult to the superior quality of the series as a whole.
What the hell got into Larry David, anyway?

I thought it was funny. Not necessarily the death itself, but the whole situation: George wants to get out of the engagement, accidentally poisons his fiancee, and shrugs it off. It's certainly not "happy happy funtime" humor, but still amusing in a dark and twisted way. Think of movies like Fargo, Fight Club, Dr. Strangelove, The Big Lebowski, etc.

Was Susan truly a sympathetic supporting character? Certainly in her first few episodes: "Let's see, she's been vomited on, she lost her job at NBC, and her father's cabin was burnt down".
Yet, she seemed to grow more and more shrill as the wedding approached (from the scripts page for The Invitations, http://www.geocities.com/tnguym/scripts/TheInvitations.html):
George: Listen I was talking to Elaine today and she said she'd would really like to be an usher at the wedding
Susan: No. Out of the question. I don't want any women ushers at my wedding and while we're on the subject, Kramer is not an usher either.
George; Why not?
Susan: He doesn't even know my name.
George: That was an honest mistake.
Susan: Nah! He's too weird he'd fall or something. He'd ruin the whole ceremony.
... later on in the same episode
Susan: A pre-nup?
George: Yeah.
Susan: (burst out laughing)
George: What's so funny?
Susan: Ha.Ha.Ha. ha...You don't have any money. I make more money than you do. ha. ha. ha. Yeah.. give me the papers I'll sign 'em.( she leaves) a pre-nup...

Mr. R. to Mrs. R.: "Why don't you put on some more lipstick." (paraphrase) That one line, delivered perfectly, gave us a quick glimpse into a decades-long relationship that bordered on comtempt, hidden by a thin veil of civility.
One could imagine a remake of "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolfe" with the Ross' in the Liz Taylor and Richard Burton roles and George and Susan taking the George Segel and Sandy Dennis parts.

Ah, found it on the scripts page for "The Strong Box", (http://www.geocities.com/tnguym/scripts/TheStrongbox.html:
Maura, entering Monk's: "George?"
George: "Maura. Oh, my God! What are you doing here?!"
Maura: "You told me to meet you here for lunch."
George, standing up and overreacting: "Oh, I'm caught in my own web of lies!"
Maura, to Loretta: "I'm Maura."
Loretta, to Maura: "I'm Loretta. You want to join us?"
George: "This is all blowing up in my face! My serious girlfriend, and my torrid love affair have accidentally crossed paths. I have ruined three lives. Well, I understand if you never want to see me again, so..."
Maura: "George, what we have is too important. We can work through this."
Loretta: "So can we."
George: "What? So, this is still not over?"
Maura: "No."
George: "You?"
Loretta: "No."
George, reluctantly sitting down: "All right."

Doesn't make sense to me either.

Yes. That can be correct. You see sugar, like salt, is a hydroscopic substance. It draws water out of the surrounding media. Hence a cake made with A LOT of sugar would minimize the mould and decay of the cake. (Also why one should not drink sweet drinks during a very hot day as that will actually increase the dehydration of the body.)

You have to keep it airtight or in dry air. Pure sugar attracks moisture from the air. A cake like that would melt away in days. Even in a fridge it would go soft until it's a lump of mush.
