Watched the syndicated episode "The Stranded" last night. While Elaine's "Maybe the dingo ate your baby" line is the most-quoted, Jerry has a great little line, which is set up by the scene where Kramer comes out to pick them up from the party on Long Island. Kramer tells Elaine and Jerry to button up, because it's cold and he wasn't able to get the top back up on the car. In the next scene, Jerry is on the phone with George (who stranded them at the party when he left with a woman). He's a little pissed off, and he tells George that he and Elaine have been sick with colds all week. "40 degrees at 80 miles per hour for 15 minutes---you do the math". Good line.

I am quite sure that the time Jerry says is 50 minutes. This is part from recollection of the epsiode, and from being a LI'er for 20 years. I believe that the party was supposed to take place on the East end, so 50 minutes sounds about right (that is unless you were doing this during rush-hour, when it could take hours. They don't call the LIE the 'Longest Parking Lot in the World' for nothing).
