The Boyfriend

I have noticed a lot of talk recently about the Keith Hernandez episode--"The Boyfriend." That episode is a classic. Two years ago, at one of my spring training visits, I went to a Dodgers game. As luck would have it, it was meet the Dodgers day. All fans had the opportunity to meet the players on the field (rather than trying to meet them while they "work"). The first person I went to was Roger McDowell. I had to ask him this question: "Were you really the second spitter on Seinfeld?" His answer was, and he said it with conviction, YES! May there be no doubt whatsoever, if you have any. Keith Hernandez did not act alone. There was no magic loogey. More baseball tidbits, I hear Danny Tartabull and Buck Showalter of the New York Yankees, filmed part of an upcoming episode. Why do I get the feeling that if the Yankees don't win the World Series it's all George's fault? Can't wait til the upcoming seasons. Or season.
