The show really cleaned up in Emmy nominations, along with Murphy Brown and Northern Exposure. The show was nominated for Best Comedy, Jerry, Julia and Jason each got a nod for Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress and Best Supporting Actor. Congratulations to all!

The other five nominations were three for best writing, one for best directing, and one for best camera work. I don't remember the specific episodes cited, but they were in the LA Times.
