Script typos/corrections

There are going to be typos in the scripts.

-- as I watch the shows almost every night, I am going through the scripts, making corrections and sending them to Mike to be updated. Some have only a few mistakes and words missing from the dialogue, some have more -- but over all, they are a great resource.

Since they have been transcribed by a variety of people, you have to expect a few mistakes -- Hey, I found 5 tiny errors in The Pool Guy and I'm the dufus that spent 12 hours transcribing it for the site.

Chris, if you find errors, send them to Mike so he can update the script -- I just have the script up on my computer and watch the show at the same time --

** IMPORTANT -- of course with the syndication cuts -- you have to understand that you cannot change the script to reflect any of those changes. I am looking for TYPOS -- and not all the eh, ah, oh, etc ... will be reflected in the scripts, but if you can add those in, it helps make the scripts more authentic. Also not all the words the are yeah, yea, ya are typos, as it depends on the inflection of the actor, so I try and spell the dialogue correctly -- but also keep it true to the character

Last thing -- and probably most important is getting the dialogue into the script that is missing from the script -- but included in the show -- that means when the script was transcribed the person missed that word or dialogue, so it's nice to get those errors fixed. (We do this for al the kids that can't afford to go see Deathblow)

Did you check The Pen? Cause if you didn't I will find these typos again very fast and send the corrections to Mike.

I say it's "that's right" but don't believe the captions... there's not accurate at all

hmmmmmm not sure anymore... it DOES sound like I try... no S sound there... We're fooled by his usual That's right I think...

So, Maestro: Alright I say good answer! (that's a line I OFTEN use, to anyone, whether they understand English or not) I teach, I'm still in training, but when someone answers, I sometimes yell: Alright I say good answer!.... I don't even rememeber in which episode or which context George says that...

The closed captioning is not complete and in many cases not accurate -- they leave out quite a bit.

But there's a 'S' sound on the middle, which wouldn't be so clear if it was 'I try'. It's more like 'at's right or I don't know. Everytime I hear it, it sounds different.

I just listened to you clip for a hundred times in a row and I felt like I was about to enter Steibrenner's office for being asked about 'The Project'. In any doubt, Puddy always says 'That's right', so you can't go wrong with that one. Can you slow it down but keeping it in tune?

I suppose translators have access to original scripts straight from NBC, wouldn�t they?
