Getting Things Right

Seems to me we spend a lot of time arguing over and endlessly correcting quoted lines. I spend extra time every day paging through endless posts of:

I know I'm just a lunatic, but could we all tape Seinfeld, and then when we want to quote a line we could actually watch the episode in question, write the quote down the right way and post it?

I'm not trying to be anal-retentive, but if the lines are supposed to mean so much and to have so much resonance, I don't think it's out of line to expect them to be right. Sorry, if I'm pissing anyone off. Bob Hate ................no man's friend........................
