Remember we were watching and I really appreciated the converstation in the hospital where they go:"I love the smell of chemo in the morning"?
Well, the line is a CLASSIC from the movie Apocalypse Now (Francis Ford Coppola, 1979, with Marlin Brando among others). The movie is probably the best Vietnam War epic ever made. In one scene, actor Robert Duvall (same guy who played the old astronaut in Deep Impact) plays an army officer who comes riding in his jeep and goes:"I love the smell of napalm in the morning!" In the same movie, Marlon Brando plays a rogue officer who becomes like a deity among Burmese villagers and, another great line, he goes:"the horror! the horror!" while thinking of the horrors of war. That line is taken by Mr. Peterman, commenting on the Urban Sombrero when Elaine goes all the way to his Burmese reclusion so that he signs on the expense for the hat that George fancied...
You may like to know that Harrisson Ford has a cameo role (two lines, no more) in the beginning of Apocalypse Now... We have the DVD, one of the first DVDs I bought...
