I saw Jerry in person on Saturday night...and he was very very funny. Yes...much of his material had been heard before, but I have new found respect for him as a quick wit. He had a good 10 minutes of material on the O.J. Simpson situation (which took place only the night prior). He also had some stuff on the movie, Speed. Best of all, though, was his responses to the audience questions. It is possible he hears the same questions every night, but he had some great lines in response to them. All in all, he was well worth the money. He is a true master craftsman, who put on a flawless show....he never stumbled once. Smooth as can be... The segways from topic to topic were virtually invisible, and his tempo and timing were right on the money. He gets a rave review from me, and I'm one of his toughest critics.
---by the way--he admitted that he IS NOT master of his domain. No man is. "It's different for men, we have to do it."
