Howdy seinfeldiens!

Hello. I live in New Zealand and we are half way through the last series now. I have about 70 episodes on tape. I consider myself a real Seinfeld fan, and so am wondering if others do what I do. When having a conversation with anyone, seinfeld watcher or not, I will often throw in a Seinfeld line when it is appropriate. It is amazing how often it fits right into the conversation a lot of the time! Most nights I will watch about 2 episodes over again. Seinfeld is like music. The more you listen (or watch in this case) the better it gets.

Also, you mention throwing in lines from seinfeld in conversation. What's really fun is manipulating the conversation so that it meanders through seinfeldian folklore. I once had a conversation with a colleague of mine almost identical to the one Jerry Elaine and George had about shrinkage. It's also fun to use some of George's "impress the chick" stories. Good for a laugh.

I mentioned disturbed. My girlfriend is not an avid viewer but she did watch the finale. Next day she said of the "looks" that I have in my repertoire, "You know when you give me or people a look, they're just like Jerry's. You copy everything he does, don't you?"

Very awkward. There's no comeback for that !

I once had a conversation w/ my dad about how he needed a new table. I asked him if he was comfortable w/ what he had now. He replied that he wasn't, his back hurt, etc. Well, of course so, I answered, "you don't have a proper workstation!" I couldn't help going on in my best Karl Farvman-like manner.
