Michael Richards in an 80's movie...UHF

I was flipping around and saw an early Michael Richards in a movie called 'UHF'. I was LOL for the rest of the movie, he was hilarious. If anyone knows more info about this movie, please post here. If you would like to see the movie, it will be aired again on Sunday night on Comedy Central, it will be on at 7:00 Central Time, check your local listings for times. I know everyone should have a laugh at this, Kramer as a doofus, as if he could be anything else!

No! It's a "Weird Al" movie. Richards does a very nice job with the part of Stanley Spidowski in the movie. The movie was released in 1989 so it was a pre-Seinfeld Richards, even though the characters he plays are similar. I'm not sure what kind of info you want about the movie. I remember Michael Richards from an early eighties movie starring Rhea Pearlman and Danny Devito called something like `The Ratings War'. Was there another Seinfeld cast member in this movie too? Wayne Knight?

No it was Jerry Seinfeld as a network executive with all of about 4 seconds of screen time.

Yes, UHF is a great movie and Michael Richards is inspired. In the early episodes of Seinfeld, it seems to me that Richards hasn't worked out the Kramer character yet and uses a lot of Stanley whatever from UHF. Then , at some point, Kramer gets his famous stand-up hair and loses that low-IQ stare and becomes the Kramer we know and admire. IMHO.
