_Midnight Cowboy_ with Jon Voight and Dustin Hoffman. A *fantastic* movie. Jon Voight recurs again when George buys John Voight's old car. Then the car takes on a life of its own for a while until it catches fire and is destroyed.
God I love this series! The people who wrote it simply must be on a higher dimension.
Midnight Cowboy was on in Sweden this monday. The only reason I watched it was because I knew it included this scene you're talking about, but I don't regret it one bit. It's just wonderful!
If you ever get the chance of seeing it - take it!
