The song

I'm a student from china, came to USA no more than 1 year. But I love Seinfeld so much, I watched every episode if possible.

Today, I just watched the Seinfeld Chronicle, and heard a song with "....unpredictable... try...". Could you tell me the title of the song and singer, even the title of CD? Thanks a lot

Although your description does sound a little like that song (except by try you mean right) it wasn't in the seinfeld chronicles, the first episode, only on the clip show. P.S- I looooooooooooove 'time of your life', thanx to seinfeld it moves me every time i hear it

Considering the fact that he mentioned that he had just seen the episode that day, and that was the day the Clip Show episode was aired, and I can't think of any other Seinfeld songs with "unpredictable" in them, and there really was no music other than the theme in the first episode, I'm guessing he used "Seinfeld Chronicles" to indicate the body of work rather than the pilot episode.

Yeah, I've liked Green Day since long before the final episode; they sound too much like the Beatles for me *not* to like them.

But I don't care for the "good riddance" part.  It kinda sends a mixed
message, at least as far as the Seinfeld context is concerned.

I am relatively new to Seinfeld, and loved the Chronicle show, broadcast a few days ago. I absolutely loved the montage with The Time of your Life song. It was very moving, and I looked up the song on Amazon.com and bought the cd.

Green Day's "Time of Your Life" was used in another US TV show, earlier than the Seinfeld episode we're talking about, but in a similarly moving way.

In an episode of ER a couple of years ago Jeannie Boulet (played by Gloria Ruben) sings the song at the funeral of a young patient, at his request I think. She sings it unaccompanied, and it's pretty moving stuff.

If you mean "The Clip Show," where they have clips from lots of different episodes and show bloopers, then the song is "Time of Your Life (Good Riddance)" by Green Day. It can be found on their "Nimrod" CD, or can be bought as a single. The lyrics are as follows:
