Kramer's name

In the last episode Jerry called Kramer's mom to find out where he was. When he called her he saked for Mrs. Kramer...So either Kramer is Kramer Kramer or the cast of Sienfeld calls him by his last name.

In one of the original episodes Seinfeld gets in a cab and has a very short but humerous arguement with the cab driver. The cab driver's name was Chris Schousboe but I want to know who played him. I think it was an old school mate of mine named Rod McBain who went to Hollywood to seek fame and fortune but I am not sure. Does anyone know where I could write to obtain such information ?

Kramer is Kramer (and Kramer only), just as Cher is Cher. I believe this was decided in this newsgroup some time ago.

Incidentally, Cher's mother is named Babs Cher! How's that for coincidence?!

Our net just picked up this group so I don't know how you all decided that Kramer's full name is just Kramer. Please send the discussoins if anybody has them handy.

BTW, Everybody knows that Kramer is Kramer's LAST NAME!

Well I just got the new fifth edition of Brooks and Marsh's Complete Directory to Prime Time Network TV Shows, AND it lists Jerry Seinfeld as himself, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Elaine Benes, Jason Alexander as George Costanza, and Michael Richards as Kramer.

His name is Kramer. His mom's name being Mrs. (something) Kramer doesn't change the character's name.

And, by the way, he doesn't wear a "coat," he wears a JACKET!!!

2nd -  Who cares if Cher is Cher.
3rd -  The book some lady read and said the guy who plays `Kramer' only called
       him that because that is all they know him as.
4th -  Don't get so defensive.
5th -  I know a guy named Naufel Naufel.
6th -  It's possible he has more of a name.
7th -  It's possible his only name is Kramer.
8th -  Maybe the writer's of the show need to subscribe to this network and
       realize the endless possibilities for new shows.

And about Kramer's name. I think I mentioned this once but I don't think "Kramer" even knows his OWN full name..... Nor do I think he cares...

and I know (knew) a guy named Jay Kaye.
