Babka??

I probably am not spelling this correctly, but what exactly is a "babka"? I know it's a cake sort of thing available in chocolate or cinnamon ("...the answer is invariably cinnamon, cinnamon, cinnamon!...") but what sets it apart from regular cake?

And from the same episode, when Jerry recounts his earlier experience tht led to his aversion to food with hair in it, what was he eating that had a hair that caused him to freak out?

Babka is a breadlike coffee cake of Polish origin, drier than most dessert cakes, often containing raisins, and usually about the size and shape of a common layer cake. Although available in chocolate or cinnamon, plain or cheese babka is more common.

This is a line from a Internet published "MIT Commencement Address" which has been attributed to Vonnegut, but which he did not write. It was written for June 1 edition of the Chicago Tribune by a writer named Mary Schmich. No one knows who started the bogus attribution, but the article (minus its preamble) was published on the net and made its way into numerous emails. In the internet version, Schmich's name was removed and Vonnegut's added. Vonnegut was never mentioned in Schmich's original article.

Schmich has since used the debacle as the basis for another article in the Tribune (see text import below.)
