I saw an advertisement for a show about the Andria Doria - its on the History Channel tonight. Might be interesting to see how it compares to the information provided in Seinfeld episode.

Why would the Andria Doria be on the History Channel? That was no tragedy! She eased into the water like an old man taking a bath, I believe. 50 people died, which is only 10-20 more than you would lose on a normal cruise.
I am going to watch it though, to see if it was the Ella Fitzgerald or the Gordon Lightfoot that sank her. Or maybe it was the Cat Stevens?

He still is a singer-songwriter; been one for more than 40 years now. He has a new CD out May 11th called "Harmony". No boat named after him that I'm aware of, though he's written enough nautical songs to float a boat or two.
