Larry David on Charlie Rose:

Hey, did anyone catch Larry David on Charlie Rose Tues or Weds night? He was talking about his first 4 episodes and how the show all came about. It wasn't originally a "Show about nothing, but one that kind of traced a day in the life of a comic's ordinary life, and the stand-up comedy that came out of his reflections on life. He had been assigned to do the last episode by himself (usually the writers do it together with Jerry and the cast, I guess... kind of brainstorm). He said he was satisfied with it, but it was quite a challenge as he had to satisfy all the Seinfeld fans and give them closure. The show was filmed in front of an audience who had to sign a paper and swear they would not give away the plot. Jerry came out and talked with them about why this was important, and as of Weds, the 15th, no one had given it away. Larry said he was happy with his work at writing the final episode and practically guaranteed that we would all be satisfied with the last show. The Hermit
