I Want To Know

Does anybody out there have any idea what Kramer's first name is? That is something that I would really like to know. And another thing, Who is the person who does "THE VOICE" in the movie "Field of Dreams?

No one knows whether "Kramer" is Kramer's first or last name, and I doubt if we'll ever find out. Jerry once said in an interview that Kramer's first name is "Kramer", his middle name is "versus" and his last name is "Kramer", thus his name is Kramer versus Kramer. This was obviously just a joke since Kramer would have been born long before the movie came out. Plus, it was a good way to avoid really answering the question.

No idea about "THE VOICE" in "Field of Dreams".

I don't know if this counts, but on the "Mad About You" episode where Paul gives up his bachelor apartment in Jerry's building, he is talking on the phone to someone, implied to be Kramer, about coming over to get the last of his stuff out of the apartment he is subleasing to Kramer. I know he referred to him by name during the show, and I believe it was "Steven", but I'm not positive. Does anyone else remember this episode, or have it on tape?

I have always assumed it was the actor who played Shoeless Joe. Next time I watch, I'll pay more attention to see if I can verify my assumption.

*sigh* One more time. Since a first name for Kramer has not been written into a show, he doesn't _have_ one. Kramer is a _character_, and a first name for the character has never been mentioned. A guy named Kenny Kramer used to be Larry David's neighbor, but that's _his_ name, not the name of the _fictional_ Kramer. OK? Can this information go in the FAQ or something? It's been talked to death too many times already.
